About Toscanini & Sons:

Front door           Toscanini & Sons is owned and operated by Andrew and Greta Platt (our 3 year-old, Henry, is the "son" in "Sons"). We are independent of Toscanini's Ice Cream. Rest assured that Toscanini's has not become a franchise, nor is it bent on world domination.

Concerning our relationship with Toscanini's, you can think of us as the place where the baked goods and sandwiches come from, while Toscanini's is where the ice cream comes from. Our pastry, sandwiches and pizza can be found at all three of the Toscanini's locations: 899 Main St., Harvard Square and the Someday Cafe in Davis Square. Toscanini's' inventive and original ice creams can also be found here.

Our bakery will continue to provide the same pastry you have come to love from Panini, with an expanded menu, longer hours and more savory lunchtime offerings and sweet desserts.
