 The Holidays
               —by Raina Williams

Snow falls.
Dawn breaks.
The moonlight fades away
ushering in the sun.
The sparkling bows,
joy and delight,
as the spirit of giving,
charms one another's life.
Warm cocoa tickles noses,
steam floats in the air,
the chocolate mist follows,
generously warming hearts.
Above a glowing smile,
dozens of ornaments twinkle....
And as we unite as one community,
linking colorful hands,
our voices rise--
with gleeful carols,
inspiring a new holiday season,
welcoming us home.
